How can you kill ants and fast?!

we have recently discovered many many ants in our house. They are under our dishwasher and in our backyard. There are winged ones and regular ones. They are somehow getting into our windows and everything. We're using raid but it isnt working! Please if you have any ideas help us!

We're having a ant problem also, carpenter possibly...if you find anything out, email me, I cant really get a good answer on here.  May call an exterminator tomorrow.  Came home from weekend and tons dead on bed, ick!
