How can you kill bermuda grass?

round up does not really kill it, it only kills the surface grass and the underground root systems just sprout new grass in a few days.

  1. You are correct except what I do is I have to keep treating the shoots as they come up until I get it all.  I just use roundup.


  2. Just keep trying.  Over and over.  

    You could try to dig it out. There will be more little sprouting bits. Its hard to get rid of.  Using herbicide will get costly and not good for the stuff you plant next or nearby.  

    It will require some persistence to get rid of it.
