How can you kill yellow jackets?

We have about ten a day come up b/c we have cats and dogs. What can we use to kill them besides a flyswatter.

soaking it with wasp spray may be pretty dangerous for you because once sprayed, they will all come out, and you have no idea if there are tens or hundreds!

       I suggest to use traps first. You can get them at places like Wal-Mart for 5 bucks. The traps will not get rid of all of them but at least reduce the number of the population. Then, pick a chilly night (below 50 degress cuz that's when they have difficulties flying) and then spray that hole with wasp spray. Be careful, wear your winter coats, a motorcycle helmet, thick winter gloves, snow boots and thick thick pants (preferably wear like some ur sweat pants, then a bigger size and then a bigger size) and be careful not to get bitten. Cuz if there are any survivers, they bite, sting, sting sting until there is no more left to bite or sting!

     BE SURE TO SPRAY THEM WHEN IT'S DUSK. (sry for the caps, it's a big warning) or else the yellow jackets are all out and you are spraying at only a few of them and once one yellow jacket tells the others outside that they are in trouble, then you are gonna be stung badly!
