  1. You would have to retune.  Sorry, there is no other way.

  2. I teach acoustic and classical guitar and what your asking is impossible......using a capo is the only way to change the pitch without retuning, sorry.....if your having trouble with retuning go to one of the sites that has a free electronic tuner on it, then put it in favorites and make an icon so that all you have to do is click on it to get back to correct pitch......this site has one ;

    http://www.8notes.com/         (click on the guitar)

    Sorry if this doesn't help..... why not have two guitars, leave one in the lower pitch and the other in the correct pitch, this way you won't have to re-tune all the time !!!!!!!!

  3. Buy a Steinberger with the Trans-Trem. A real Steinberger, not the Synapse c**p they make today. Should only cost $3000.

  4. what a silly question. let me know when u find one

  5. Baby You Cant do it....

  6. There is no practical way to do what you are seeking. I would either transpose the key to something you are comfortable playing, or learn some easy bar chords that allow you to play chords further up the neck of the guitar. It's good to play without capos, you have experiment with different chord fingerings and don't rely on every song starting with a G chord or whatever. Trust me, it will make you a better player and allow you to jam on the spot with other musicians.

  7. The only way is to re-tune... I'm sorry...

    If you don't have a tuning fork, or a piano, to tune with, don't despair... there is also a website you can use:

    http://www.get-tuned.com/guitar_tuner.ph...

  8. use heavier strings and lower the bridge might change the TONE a bit but the only way to lower the pitch is to re tune the strings theres really no way around it

  9. I don't think there's a way without retuning but if there is I'd like to know. I transpose the chords to accommodate vocals when the capo isn't practical.
