What kind programs do professional radio sations use? Is there anyway to make them at home using sound effects, clips from movies and t.v. shows, and stuff like that?

  1. I'm sure there is, if you have the right stuff.  I don't know how to.

    Sorry :(

  2. dont know

  3. Yes.  To edit your files, you can use Audacity.  It's a FREE download.  Which is a LOT cheaper than the professional Adobe Audition which will set you back about $400.  Audacity does a lot of the same things.  Just search it on Yahoo!.  Search "The Daily Wav" for a website full of all the free movie and tv clips you could ask for.  They have a huge archive.  If you search "Absolute Free Sound Effects" they'll keep you busy with sounds.  Searching "Flashkit" and clicking on SoundFX will give you an abundance of "effects" such as zaps, sustains, and loops.  Happy pod-casting!
