How can you make Firefox 3 run faster?

I've downloaded Opera 9.5 to check it out and it's super fast. How can I get Firefox 3 to run hat fast? I like Firefox because it has more features- add ons, themes, extensions etc. Opera speed and it would be perfect.

Don't load a lot of extensions you don't need, but do use NoScript.

Download Safari.  It is the fastest browser available.

In theory it should be 10 times faster, but I've only experienced about 3 times faster.  Still a huge iumprovement.
