How can you make a baseball hat/cap harder?

I bought a baseball hat (more of a style hat, but with a baseball logo) and i am learning how to do tricks with it and it is making the hat softer, and i want it to be harder, but not stiff, what can i use to make it harder but not damage the hat or mess up its coloring or stitching??

id get it wet, dip everything in a bowl of water besides the bill, dont get the bill wet.

then set the hat out to dry in the sun. i do this to every hat i buy
