How can you make a good recording from tv and put it onto the computer?

I'm trying to put some videos from my tv,and make it look good so i can put it on to you tube. i have a camera.but what do you have to do make it look like it.what type of stuff that you need to have to make a good recording?

For the best quality of recording TV source video, you will need a Internal TV Tuner/Video Capture Card installed in the computer, which is connected to the VIDEO OUT and AUDIO OUT compentents of your entertainment system.  This will ensure the best quality during encoding to video.

Once that is installed, you need to record and encode your video in MPEG format with the highest quality setting.  Over 700kbps and as close to 29.97 fps (frames per second) will give a fairly high quality video.

Well first make sure you have a good quality camera. oh yeah make sure that the quality on your tv is set to it's highest. then hook up the recording to the internet.
