How can you make a removable friendship bracelet?

the only way i think is possible is tying both ends of the friendship bracelet together and knotting them. but when you do that, you cant take it off again. the only way you can take it off is if you cut it.

Make a loop on one side and on the other side add a knot or a bead to make it so it can come on and off like this one

You should be able to use this knot.  Instead of pulling it against each side to tighten.  Slide the knots away from each other to tighten around your wrist.  Just make the bracelet longer than you need for around your wrist and add extra measurements for the knot tying.
