is it possible? What can you do to make a resume stand out from all the other boring resumes employers get? With a background in accounting, what can possibly make it jump out at the person reading it over?

  1. put it on brightly coloured paper, ,they'll see the stack of white paper and then urs and they will prob read urs first

  2. I used this resume writing service in my area, this is the email address, (resume.help50@yahoo.com) you should try them, it only cost me $35.00 and I got a great job from this new resume, I never thought about the format that they use but the turn around time was less then 24 hrs.  I would have to say it was the best service I have ever used and it was worth every dime.  Also they let me pay through paypal.

  3. 1 Use a thesaurus , not words that youve never heard but ones that arent used by everyone  all the time, dont use description words more than onece, find another

2 dont give the employer a long lenghthy 2 or 3 page resume, they will skip over most of it, get to the pont. Resume one page and refrences on another page

3 define your objective , make sure its relevant to the position you are applying for....one line that i use when making others resumes is "make (co name) run prospersly and efficently "

  4. I am a recruiter by trade and I can tell you from personal experience that the best thing to do in order to make sure your resume is well received is to make certain that the spelling and such are correct.  It takes about 15 seconds for the average recruiter to decide if they want to learn more about you.  Make those seconds count.  Also, if you are sending your resume via email, make sure that the file name contains your name and that you use an email address that is generic and not "hot_mama_69@.......That can be a major turn off.  Good luck.

  5. Not only does what is on it count, make it look professional,

maybe get the design in keeping with what job your applying.

(if accounting for example: use squared paper - good quality course, add graphics and lay it out like a maths book)

These will help keep the resume in someones mind, think if they are looking over hundreds how will they remember one particular one unless as you say 'it stands out'

Good luck with whatever you are applying 4!

  6. If you want your resume to stand out, you have to have things on it that others don't have, such as being on your city's council or something.  Just extra stuff, like volunteering in a hospital or at a soup kitchen will make you look like a caring, kind-hearted person.  Also list your past experiences with accounting and the firms you've been an accountant for.

  7. spray some perfume on it.

  8. forget the colored paper, photos and gimmicks, especially in accounting. A neat, nicely formatted resume will get the serious attention. Bolded headings. some white space so that is not "too busy" and bulleted lists where possible make for a nice layout and get attention.

  9. A high degree in some prestigious school and

    successful background in blackjack 21
