Hi,

as someone has already suggested you can go to google pages and get a free site and set one up there, there ae pros and cons to that, however good idea to start there gives you a good basis to start somewhere. Or Bigpixie.com is also a great site to go and set up one... but better an easier is to put up a blog, as they often get ranked higher than a website. So you could go to wordpress.com, blogger.com, or wordpress.org for starters. there are so many ways to get a website up, one thing you do not need to know is HTML these days as most websites are just like writing in word.

Your question is not the most clear but I will attempt to answer it.

I would recommend using Microsoft Expressions or Macromedia Dreamweaver to create your website then upload it to a web hosting service. Netfirms.com offer a free hosting service (which is difficult to find).

Most important thing with web design these days is to ensure it "validates" since this ensures code efficiency and browser capatibility. Most search engines now rely on this as well.

You can start by designing your website using Adobe Photoshop.

After you have finalized the design, you can use Dreamweaver to write the code for the design. You will have to be knowledgeable in xhtml/css be able to hand-code. Relying on dreamweaver produces undesirable code.

If you have the budget, you can just finalize your design and outsource your coding by finding a freelancer or choosing any of the services:

The first step to making a web site is to learn HTML.

There are plenty of HTML lessons on the internet.

Once you learn the basics of HTML you can use a program called Dreamweaver to actual build the web page.

Then you need to have someone (ISP) host it for you.
