  1. they like their own little space show it that u'll be nice to it let it out of the cage

  2. it could mean both. my birds always bite..you have to train them when they are little..not full grown..it's hard to do it then. it could mean she is playing with you or simply likes to bite. it rarely means they don't like you..you have to teach them that that is not okay maybe with a spray bottle or just simply yell..it helps with my birds. hope this helps!

  3. I had a tempermental cockatiel and she never stopped trying to bite. The second one I had was fine, very social with humans.

  4. Try giving her a treat whenever the behavior is good, and walking away when the biting starts. She'll get the hang of it and start to realize if she's good, she'll get the attention from you she wants. Check out the Yahoo Group "Bird-Click", they have lots of helpful hints on training and behavior tactics.

  5. My frienda,

You've a havea too many cockatiels ifa day starta biting you.  Go eata some pasta.

  6. The bird is biting because it is afraid you have to be gentle with it and win its trust and slowly train it

sometimes it has been so abused by a previous owner that there is no hope

so get a bird when it is young and never hurt it and it will not bite

  7. it means she wants to mate with you..go get em tiger..even if she is a bird legged *****

  8. They are birds, and since you probably didn't train them, then they won't stop tryingto bite you. It's just normal. THe only way to have a bird not bite you, would be that you have to raise it as a baby and handfeed it. Though handfeeding can be dangerous for the bird. It doesn't mean it ddoesn't like you either, it's normal.

  9. my cocktail used to do that, then once he got used to us it was ok....also get him a...something to chew on(can't remember what they're called, ask in your pet shop). you can tell how cockateils are by the fethers on their head, they're all diffrent though..after a while you'll know how he feels by one look =]
