How can you make someone stop drinking?

yo I'm just saying that maybe if you want you could go to a councilor or rehab  but if you want to do it by yourself you  should start with regular beer. then go to non-alcohols beer. then like most people just drink soda and bubbly stuff to get away from alchoholic stuff

you can't make someone quit anything, especially drinking, unless they want to . you're best bet would be telling them how much you want them to quit, and see if they listen, if not, then just let them do their own thing and learn from their mistakes.

My Uncle used this site while going thru AA hes been sober for 15 yrs and counting. Give it a try, cause remember this You cant change them....They need to realize they have a problem first and want to change. Then and only then can a first real step be made in changing their life forever.

you can't. they have to admit that they have a problem before anything can be done! sure, you can talk about it with them. just be careful because if you say the wrong thing, they could snap.

if they have any bottles of beer in the house open them & put something gross in all of them. hahaha

or get a video camera & record them while drunk, then show it to them when they're sober. that should make them wanna change..

You can't. Short of an intervention.  But even then  the person has to want to stop.
