Try joining a club or something at school.  If you don't see one you like, see what it would take to start one.  Talk to a teacher or counselor, they can probably help you in getting one started.  You might have a list of other students that would be interested in that type of club and the name of a teacher that would be willing to be the advisor.  Good Luck.

I got involved with everything, clubs, sports...it opens up your circles of friends and you get to experience different things also. I know most of my friends hated high school but I loved it because I actually had things to look forward to other than classes.
