How can you make your period shorter?

I'm going to a fair tommorow and I'm going to be running around alot and going on coasters and stuff and I don't wanna have a heavy flow or anything. Please help...?

I don't think you can.  But my friends say taking Ibuprofin (Advil, Motrin) slows down the bleeding.  Birth contol also gives a shorter period, but that won't help for tomorrow.
