  1. The launch angle of the ball is determined by the loft of the club at impact. The more loft the more verticle the ball will travel. Drivers have the least loft and wedges have the most.

You can affect the launch angle of the ball by swinging at a sharper angle to the ball, taking a slight divot after impact with the ball. If your divot is behind where the ball was then you are hitting behind the ball and will not be using the loft of the club effectively.

  2. Ball placement. in simplest terms the farther forward, the higher the ball flight. Back = lower.

  3. Detdet,

Like some of the other answers you have gotten, you can see there are many things you can do to increase the launch angle of your shot.

However, one of the best ways to increase your launch angle on a consistent basis is to see a custom fitting specialist. This person can bend most of the clubs and change the angle of the clubheads loft. This would be done mostly to your irons. The wood heads can't really be bent for loft because of the way they are made.

If you are trying to get more loft out of your woods try playing the ball farther forward in your stance. Either that or, consider buying higher lofted wood heads.

    Hope this helps.

  4. There a few techniques  i will go through the ones i know

where the ball is positioned in your stance . Back of stace low shot, mid stance  uses the angle of the club   front of stance high shot...

Also opening the clubface  dont turn your hands   just open the club face then grip or the club will want to close its self..

    Hope these help

  5. Several ways:

    1) Putting the ball forward in your stance to make it go higher, back in your stance to go lower.

    2) Hitting the golf ball harder to make it go higher, softer to make it go lower. Example: Hit a soft 7 iron from 120 and it will go low.

    3) You can deloft the club at impact with your wrist angle. The further your hands are ahead of the ball at impact the lower the ball fight will be.

  6. Tee height, club loft, shaft flex and ball position, take your pick they all work.
