The pool table is in my mother-in-law's house and she bought the house with the pool table already in it.

  1. I would recommend hiring some one to do it.It should run about $200-$500 depending on the distance from one house to the other.

  2. You are going to have to take it apart.  Check the sides(along the outside of the table) for the rail bolts.  Unscrew all of them, usually 4 or 5 per rail.  Once the rails are off you will have to tear the felt off and take out the slate pieces.  Make sure you have help because they are heavy.  The frame also will be able to be taken apart.  Then you will be able to get it out.  If you don't have the ability or help, call a local pool hall or pool equipment retailer and they will probably be able to better assist you.  good luck!

  3. take it apart and get some friends slate is pretty heavy  don't want to drop it on you feet (ouch) lol

  4. get a specialist in. if you start messing about with it. it will never be the same again.

snooker tables don't come cheap so it will be worth it in the long run.

  5. I know you dont want to hear it but there is a lot of work involved with moving  any pool table, especially a multi-slate table.  If you have the manpower you can remove only the legs from the table and move it in a few peices.  Its gonna be HEAVY.  Being a 3 piece you will probably have to remove the felt .  You might as well get some new felt because the glue will tear it as it comes off.  Even if it doesnt tear there will be glue residue underneath that will alter the flushness of it when you reapply.  Oops i skipped a step you must remove the bumpers and possibly the sideboards before you can get to the felt.  Then unscrew the slates from the frame . Basically the whole table has to come apart. I hate to say it.  A one peice slate table is much easier to move.  Make sure you know what you are doing when reassembling the table because it is critical that the table is leveled properly which means shimming the slates and maybe the legs depending on the table.

Hope this is some help to you. peace

  6. Hire a pro dont even think about it Taking it apart and moving it would be 1/4 of the job who will put it back togeather and level it thats the hard part  & they have insurance if they do damage it
