How can you not have your passwprd/ussername saved on most websites?

like when i go on a website it always saves my username or it already has it in the dropdown list and always saves my password. how do i make it not do that? and the thing that says it and says do not ask this in the future thing doesnt show up anymore.

You dont say what browser you are using or what operating system (ie, windows xp, vista or mac osx), so I have outlined the instructions for IE 7 and Firefox.  If you have anything differnt, update your question and I will attempt to give you details.  Note : If you are not confident following these instructions, then please dont :) also backup anything you want to save before hand incase everything goes bad.

The following instructions will remove all the existing saved password and form history.  If you want anything saved, view the data and save it beforehand else you will lose it all.

For Internet Explorer, open a new window, select Tools and then options.  In the new window that appears, select the content tab, and then look for the autocomplete section.  Click the settings button there, and in the new window that pops up check/uncheck the options that you require.  (You probably want to uncheck forms, user names and passwords on forms - this will stop ie from saving form data and usernames/passwords.) Ok everything to return back to IE and restart the browser.

For firefox, open a new window, and select tools and then options.  In the new window that pops up, select privacy (looks like a keylock) from the top.  The in the middle of the window, select the save forms tab and uncheck the Save information I enter in forms and the serach bar.  In the same area, look for the passwords tab, and uncheck the remember passwords checkbox.  Ok everything and return to firefox.  Restart the browser and all your data should be cleared.

Go to tools, then internet options and earse all saved passwords

after you earse them it should promt the things that asks to save it
