Question:

How can you not like Palin?

Governor Palin is not merely, as Jay describes her, "all-American", but hyper-American. What other country in the developed world produces beauty queens who hunt caribou and serve up a terrific moose stew? As an immigrant, I'm not saying I came to the United States purely to meet chicks like that, but it was certainly high on my list of priorities. And for the gun-totin' Miss Wasilla then to go on to become Governor while having five kids makes it an even more uniquely American story. Next to her resume, a guy who's done nothing but serve in the phony-baloney job of "community organizer" and write multiple autobiographies looks like just another creepily self-absorbed lifelong member of the full-time political class that infests every advanced democracy.

Second, it can't be in Senator Obama's interest for the punditocracy to spends its time arguing about whether the Republicans' vice-presidential pick is "even more" inexperienced than the Democrats' presidential one.

  3. i think she's great, any woman who's accomplished what she has in politics, has 5 kids, gets up at 3 a.m. to hunt moose and is a marksman is ok with.

  4. she supports pro-gun laws which i dont.

she is pro life at all cost which i am not

she hates animals- which i like

she wants the destruction of wild life  which i want preserved

she is conservative as you can get-while i lean a little bit liberal

  5. Face it. It's politics.

If Obama had chosen her, the democrats would love her.

    It's as simple as that.

  6.      I don't dislike Palin, but we have to remember she could be a heartbeat away from the presidency, and personally, I know stewardesses that are more qualified.

Palin is pro-life, a religious zealot, against any form of stem cell research, does not support equal pay for women, and wants to ban birth control pills as she feels this is a form of abortion.

I'm a guy, and even I can't support that kind of agenda.

  7. It's not about liking or not liking her. The question at hand is: if old, crippled and fragile McCain kicks the bucket, is Palin fit to run the most powerful country in the world?

  8. Yeah seems her story is a bit more exciting than Obama's come to think of it. Especially now that she is going through her teenage daughters unplanned pregnancy.  Makes her more real to  me.

  9. Palin Fan....we love her.

  10. yea great her white trash family is amazing

  11. I agree and they need to leave the family alone. They are not running for office.

  12. Totally agree!!!!!!!!!!! I love sarah, she's the best thing that's happened to this election

  13. I don't like her because she's a right wing nut-job!  Who doesn't believe in abortions even in the case of INCEST and RAPE! um excuse me....that's disgusting...

And Mrs. No s*x ed in schools' should have given her daughter a lesson in how to use a condom

  14.    The best question I've ever read on Yahoo Answers!!

This is a great country!  Don't let someone as inexperienced as Obama get his hands on it. I like Obama personally but he's simply all talk, no concrete plans....and far too little experience. McCain has the substance, courage and experience that Obama lacks. Don't gamble with our country's future, elect McCain/Palin.

  15. She's a lot more "America" than "Washington" than anyone else in the race.  I don't see how that can hurt.
