  1. I think it depends on what you are finding on the internet.  Some information should be organized straight into the trash.  Without independent expertise it may be difficult to differentiate.  There are credible organizations dedicated to special education whose websites are already categorically organized.  My preference is to rely on those organizations to post peer-reviewed research and accurate legal citations, and to visit them regularly.


  2. I set up folders in my favorites section: assessment, language arts, math etc.  I do the same in e-mail folders when people send me articles.  If I teach a class, I organize a folder with just materials appropriate for that class.  when I switch computers I double check everythign and decide if I want to keep something or if it is too old.  Then I save everything onto a memory stick or CD.
