How can you overcome butterflies in your stomach from roller coasters or body slides?

I totally hate roller coasters. Whenever I go to an amusement park, my friends tell me to ride a roller coaster. But the thing I hate is that I don't want to experience butterflies in my stomach. I hate it so much! This goes same for body slides. When you lie down and go down so quickly, the pressure when you curve causes butterflies in my stomach. It feels as if I am going to faint during the ride. Are there possibly any solutions to overcome butterflies? I don't appreciate answers that say "continue riding it", "don't ride it", or "close your eyes".

  1. Raise your hands up it always helps me

  2. i dont think there is but maybe lie to yourself a continue saying that you want to ride that roller coaster and stuff. or u can just tell your friends u hate roller coasters than u will never have to go.

  3. G-Force (the apparent increase in weight of an object due to gravitational forces) is what causes the sensation of butterflies in your stomach. In order to stop it, you can use the fighter pilot technique, which includes breathing in and out of your nose and tightening up your muscles. Although when it comes down to it, all that work isn't really worth the 4 minutes on the ride, right?

  4. The butterflies are part of the fun. If the rides don't make you feel something what  is the point?

Honestly, I mean really honestly, if you don't like them don't ride them.
