How can you permanently delete a photo in your computer?

Isn't it that when you delete a photo in the recycle bin, you think you deleted it permanently? but i've read some articles that even if you deleted the photos in the recycle bin, it is still retrievable in your computer...how can u delete it permanently?

  1. When you empty the bin the file's original space is marked empty. This means the machine will use that space to store temporary system files, internet temporary download files and any files you save. Within 20 minutes to 1 hour it is likely to be overwritten beyond recovery. Possibly not quite enough to stop the CIA, but for any normal purpose. Run a defrag, and you will probably have moved enough data into and out of the spaces to finish it .of.

  3. Try a file/folder shredding program. It generally comes with some Security Suites like "BitDefender 2008 Total Security". It may also be found with some of the Tune-Up facilities like "Uniblue Speed Up My PC". Personally the one I use is with BitDefender.

    or go to cnet.com and u could find prg's that would aid u in this.

  5. Use a "scrubber" program that wipes over the data using various patterns.
