How can you prevent from downloading viruses of bitorrent/uttorrent?

i am just wondering because i was thinking of downloading one of the ywo and i hear they can give viruises so plz tell em how to prevent downloading viruses

Basically, you cant prevent it.  You don't know what is in the file you are downloading - it could be anything.  Once it is downloaded, you can run a virus scan on it with an antivirus program and an antispyware program.  But .... there are no guarantees.

Norton Anti Virus

then download that other stuff and it scans it before you download it

I always make sure the file has comments on the website to see if other people have gotten a virus from the torrent.  But I don't download the torrents, a buddy of mine does.

By downloading more stuff, and getting ANTI Virus Software, for free...

Well at least you can get up to 1 year with Vista, and 165 Years with XP, Trust you and me, I know what I'm talking about my friend...
