How can you pull up old messages when erased?

i just wonderd if you could pull up yahoo conversations after they wear erased

i Don't think so, unless you haven't  Permanently  deleted ur Trash can, if not check there

if its none of your business, dont bother.  thats weird and it REALLY pisses people off

if its your conversation, i think there is software that reconstructs deleted conversations and emails.  But if you have your chat on 'dont save' from the beginning, your sunk

IM messages are gone forever,

If you put your email into your trash you could still find it, but not if you empty your trash can.  It is just like the Recycle Bin for Windows.

In fact there is a warning message in Yahoo Instant Messenger that says off line messages will be deleted when you close the box, or sign out.  Your normal IM messages will last only as long as you keep the window open.

Remember that all of this is NOT on your computer, but on Yahoo's servers and they need to room so the don't keep every single thing.  They are closing Yahoo Pictures to do something else.
