How can you re-dye bleach stains???

  1. Depends on the color. I got bleach stains on my black pants and used a permanent marker over the spots. Not really permanent when you want them to be----fades out when I wash them.

    If you dye the areas I would try putting the dye on the bleached areas firstand let it sit overnight and then  add the dye solution to a large pan and soak the item in it with some vinegar(1/2 cup) to set the dye.Follow directions on the rit dye.


  2. you take the clothing and dye it white then you dye it the original color if possible, or buy a new one.

  3. If you re-dye, all you'll have is a garment with different colored spots.  It doesn't work.

  4. Generally you can't because the dyes won't react the same on the bleached spot as they would on the rest of the fabric.  With some colors it may work though so it doesn't hurt to try!
