How can you remove ketchup stains?

Well I got 2 big ketchup stains on my brand new white t-shirt

and now I can't get it out so what would you recommend to remove it? =)

  1. FIrst try soaking it in cold water for several hours.  

    Then try either peroxide or a bleach pen.  I have gotten out blood this way, so I would think it would get out ketchup.

    If it's solid white, then it'll be fine, but if the stains are near any coloring in the shirt, then don't try the peroxide b'c it will run onto the fabric and discolor any dark colors on the shirt.  Opt for the bleach pen instead and use it carefully.


  2. lemon juice, the acid in there will bring it up clean!!  

  3. Put some dishwashing detergent on the stain and let it set for awhile. Soak it in the washing machine with detergent and OxyClean. Let it agitate, then soak, agitate, then soak, repeating this process for a couple of hours.
