They will come here an unspecified number of times or one time to smuggle drugs.

I thought you could say "They will some here some time to smuggle drugs" without the plural since it is one time or many times.

  1. how bout some will come here to smuggle drugs.......or some of them will come here to smuggle drugs, they will sometimes come here to smuggle drugs, they sometimes come here to smuggle drugs, they come here sometimes to smuggle drugs

  2. An individual might smuggle once, another might come many times. Your second option looses that precise definition.

    How about

Some individuals may smuggle drugs once, others may smuggle many times.

  3. Just say, "They may come here once or many times to smuggle drugs."  I would use "may" instead of "will", because the sentence expresses uncertainty.  You have no idea how many times they will come, or if they will come at all.
