How can you rig an at-home breathalyzer to show zeros when you blow?

My parents resently bought a breathalyzer, and I've been trying to find a way to damage it so it shows only zeros. Hopefully some of you tech-savy people out there can help.

  1. Gesh, just don't drink and especially don't drink and drive!

  2. too much effort rigging the device, opening it then figuring out what the heck everything is, then finding the sensoring device then connecting up the program to alter the readings....seriously not worth the effort, just dont drink.

  3. There is a mint that you suck on and its VERY strong but it is made for passing a breathalyzer test we actually sell them where i work all over it says PASS YOUR BREATHALYZER.   there tottally legal too hahaa

  4. not really,

dont drink if you know you'll get caught.

  5. have someone else blow in it....

  6. Don't drink!!

  7. There's no special mint to suck on. Breathalyzer test the alcohol that's let out by your lung's membrane. This alcohol is directly related to the amount that is in your blood. Breathalyzers will just ignore the fragrance from the mint.

As far as your original question. If your breathalyzer is from an old technology sensor like the alcohawk line of breathalyerzs, you may be able to over saturate the sensor before hand. This will cause it to error out. Just have a lot of alchohol on your lips and blow immediately. Repeat until it's busted. You should really value that your parents are looking out for you, and willing to spend money to make sure you're not drinking.
