How can you say 'to be full' in French to mean that you are pregnant?

I accidentally said this one time when I was full from eating so much, but I can't remember how to say it now.

  1. I believe it's "Je suis pleine," which is the literal translation for "I am full," only "pleine" is used for "pregnant" when talking about animals.

  3. If you say 'je suis pleine' ('I am full') it sounds very strange to a French speaker - since 'pleine' ('full') is what you call cattle who are pregnant.

    A person cannot really say 'je suis pleine' for 'I am pregnant'. It should be 'je suis enceinte'.

    You also need to be careful with 'je suis froide' ('I am cold') - which means 'I am frigid.'

    If you are full at the end of a meal say 'je n'ai plus de faim'.

    If you are cold: 'j'ai froid'.
