How can you shrink the size of a polo shirt?

- i got a polo shirt for school but a "small" is fairly large on me.

The vendor said that it is possible to shrink.

Please help , thanks :]

well wash it a coupel of times but dont use sope everytime but wash it in hot water and then put it in the dryer for like 2 houres the check it and if it is not small enoff then dry it more

Yes once you wash it it will work.  But until then big shirts look good on anyone.

Usually cotton clothes will shrink if you wash in hot water and dry on high heat.

If it is synthetic or a synthetic blend, it will not shrink.

Unless it's a white shirt, don't use hot water; it will surely fade the color and look dingy. Put it through a rinse and spin cycle in cool water. The put it in the dryer on a high heat setting. Check on it after about 20 minutes. If it can be shrunk, this will do it.

Extreme hot water and then extreme hot dryer. That's how I usually do it, except I don't want to. Put some sort of colour guard in the water, though, you dont want it to wash out,
