How can you start seeing ghosts or anything paranormal?

I was wondering if there was a way to get the gift to be able to see the paranormal.

Well, you can't really set out on a journey to find them. Typically, they would come to you. And no, you would most likely be born with the "gift". But, anyway can sense the paranormal if they want to. To be able to comunicate with them, you would probably have to be psychic. Ghosts usually go to you because you are/have something that reminds them of when they were alive. Something they perhaps feel save around.

There isn't any known "gift" here, though popular lore might suggest that. If you want to start seeing ghosts, go to scary places at night and go with a strong belief in spirits. You'll probably experience something you'd call paranormal.

Note, though, that it's really much more likely that you're experiencing power of suggestion.

I don't see them all the time, But I have seen and had experiences with ghost and spirits all my life. All I can tell you is, at times it's strong, and then it slows down to nothing. I saw four spirits in one year and one of them kept on coming to communicate. And If I don't see them I can feel their presence strongly to know just where they are in the room. Or when I am asleep, if they come near, and if I don't wake, my third eye opens to see them in the room, and I can telepathically communicate, or I feel their thoughts, almost the same just that they some don't know I can read them.

I don't know if this has a lot to do with it, just that sometimes when I pray to God, they seem to come shortly after wards....praying is the same as tuning in to the spiritual world since God is spirit.

You can't see them unless they come close to you, then either your third eye- spiritual eye opens to see, or they connect themselves to one of your senses to smell, see, feel, hear, or even touch them.

One of the main things to do first is to be open to the spiritual world, and know that all things are possible in the spiritual world.

if you have not been born seeing it then you probebly wont unless the spirit or being is strong and WANTS you to see them. it takes alot of energy for them to appear to someone... even someone with the gift.

however, even though you may never be able to see them with the naked eye you can use cameras.... alot of times the can appear in photos or videos. especially if you have a heat camera that simply shows spots of hot and cold. then you may be able to make out the shape of the spirit or being.

wow, the other people who were answering are kinda rude. i can never understand why people who dont believe in spirits or "ghosts" would come into a paranormal site to answer questions. if they dont believe in it then obviously they dont know anything about it. i mean, i dont believe in lepricons so i certainly wouldnt go to a site and answer peoples questions about that, when the people believe they are real. it makes no sense to do that and simply makes the one answering look extreemly unintelligent.

You have to be born with this gift. Or really paranormally intune. Ghosts don't want you to see them, if they do, they will somehow reveal themselves.

Well, if you dare, play Ouija. You don't need the actual board game. I played it when I was like thirteen by just writing out the letters on a piece of paper a-z in rainbow shape and yes no on the top left and right hand corner and hello and good bye on  the lower left and right had corner. take a quarter, or a nickel, any coin worked for me. and after asking "is anyone there" someone will answer and it will move. It takes patience, though.

(I played this in CATHOLIC school,in a class room during english class on top of a student's desk with a friend, and the sucker moved...it even moved on the school bus with the paper on top of a text book).

Now i warn you don't ask for the spirits name. After playing it many times the same spirit would answer me, its scary. And don't play it alone. Seriously. Its supposed to be a game but its serious stuff, whether people want to believe it or not.

At least your curiosity will end.

I'm not sure I understand why you should consider being deluded a 'gift'.

There's a very good reason why you are currently not seeing any ghosts.....

I am a paranormal investigator and I have seen spirits. I do not have a special gift where they come to me I am just out there looking for them. I do not always see them but I know when they are around. If I were you I would start off with small steps like trying to get an e.v.p.  or something , by using a voice recorder and try to pick up on the voice of a spirit ask questions ect... You could try taking random pictures to see them but just so you know i have taken millions of pictures and i have a handful of pictures of ghost. If your truely interested in seeing a ghost it will take a lot of patients..and by the way leave the ouiji board alone.

Well the first step to seeing ghosts and the paranormal is to go out and look for them. Do not expect thigs to come to you. Understand too that paranormal events are very rare, dispite what TV portrays them to be. They can and do occur though.

Heck just last weekend, I had two investigators who simultaneously witnessed an apparition of a man walking about 15 feet in front of them. The man than sank quickly into the solid ground. The investigators who were 10 feet in front of me were both stunned silent then turned and asked each other "did you see that?!" Neither were on drugs. One is a business manager. The other is a mechanical engineer who works on jet aircraft. Smart cookies. When I had them recall the event, both gave the exact same details. I will now be eternally jealous that I was the one behind them.

You can see just about anything if you believe in it strongly enough. But it will be like the stars you see when you bonk your head. Visible, but not real.

i dont think there is a way to get the gift because you are born with it. some have it and some dont.
