How can you stay cool if you have a bad temper???

it seems like ive been getting pissed off at everything lately...dont know why

  1. Maybe your stressed out! Go take a break.

    Or you can always just hold your breath, count to ten and then think about other ways you can handle something instead of yelling, hitting or anything else.

    Also you can just take a 'time out' but a grown up version. Just go say 'I need a minute' and sit somewhere where you can think by yourself.

    And if those suggestions don't help, maybe a therpist would be more helpful! They actually give great advice and help you tons!


  2. I seriously think it's too many frozen pizza's.. lol

    No, it must be in the air lately - everyone seems to be having that issue.

    I take a walk, rant on Y/A - count to 10 and  breathe deeply.

  3. The best way to cool off is to get into a fitness program like go to the gym and lift some weights, walk on the treadmill, or stair-stepper. You can also take walks to cool off. Do all this if you are stressed out. If you are like this all the time, you might want to change the way you think. It is all about attitude! Stop being negative, stop watching the bad news on TV, stop hanging out with people who are so negative and start hanging out with positive people. It is not good to be all stressed out with a 'bad' temper. It is not healthy either. Stop complaining and start living! Actually the title "Stop Complaining and Start Living" is a book by Dr. Laura Schlessinger. Another good book "Bad Childhood, Good Life."

    So start tomorow, take a walk, look around you and be grateful for all the things you see.
