How can you still play internet Texas Holdem in the U.S.?

I know that you can do it I just don't know how. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. And not any of that free stuff.

I'd recommend using Full Tilt or PokerStars.  You can deposit safely with an eCheck.  At least one of them accepts checking or savings accounts.  If you do not want to use your bank account, you can also use a Visa All Access Prepaid Gift Card.  There is a lower minimum at PokerStars for depositing and withdrawals.  But either site is one of the better options out there.  Check http://dagus-statistics.com/funding.htm for a more detailed explanation of how you can deposit and withdraw for players living in the US.  You'll also find bonus codes for current bonus offers, as well.

Go to CVS or Walgreens and buy a prepaid Visa or Mastercard. You can fund an account at bodoglife.com,  absolutepoker.com,  fulltiltpoker.com  or any other poker site with this method. Yes you can still play. UIGEA only restricted payment processors and had no effect on the legality of online poker.

I agree with the answer above in that you should choose between PokerStars or Full Tilt Poker. They are the biggest and best sites.

Payment processors are constantly in flux. The pre-paid VISA cards use to work but some brands stopped working a few weeks ago. Most sites allow Western Union and I suggest that for deposit until a new processor shows up. E-checks is still in beta testing and is a good option.
