  2. You go to a doctor and he gives you medication for your ADD.

  3. my psych told me a technique called mindfulness.  Comes from a Buddhist technique.

    Imagine all the things that are running through you head.  Imagine you are writing them down on a cloud/balloon etc.  Look at them.  Imagine them gradually floating away until it disappears.

    Thats like the basic gist of it.

    Id suggest seeing a doctor as well :-)

  4. Yes this could be ADD and it needs to be looked into by a good Doctor. I hope that you can find a good Doctor because they are hard to come. Good Luck to you and have a blessed day.

  5. Racing thoughts are often related to anxiety. A good start is to look at what stimulants are being  taking in (coffee for instance), and to reduce the amount of that stimulant if it's being taken excessively.

    Next, it is good to make a list of the current stressors that could be affecting the anxiety level. Picking the littlest one first, and find a way to manage it will provide a sense of accomplishment and empowerment. Work on the rest of the list one small step at a time.
