  1. There r 2 ways i know of...the 1st 1 is if u r on the pill 2 carry on taking it without that 7 day break...the 2nds 2 go 2 ur Dr & get a tablet that will stop it 4 that cycle.

  2. You can postpone it, but I think this has to be before your period, go to your GP and he/she can prescribe you a pill that will postpone it.

  3. If your on birth control. You can start taking the active pills. It will stop your period. Just keep going on them like normal and when you get to the inactive pills you will start again. I have done this and know i have the nuva ring and with it all you have to do is put in another ring and it will quit. Good luck!

All of the people on here that are saying you cant do anything just dont know. I have done this before. It will take a day to quit but it will.

  4. I don't think you can the only way you have of controlling your periods is by speaking to a family planning nurse. She will advise you of the different contraceptive pills available that many women take just to control the pain and flow of their period.

If you are able to take a contraceptive pill then you will be given 3months worth by your GP, You will then be able to take these by either having a wks break where u will have your period withing this 7 day break, or with advise from your family planning nurse you should be able to take your tablets without a break giving you three months of period free bliss. However you will need to take you 7 day break at the end of this three month supply.

  5. There really is no way to do that.  Talk to your doctor and see if they can help you.

If you've already started there is zero way to do it.

  6. There is no way to stop it

  7. I take my 3 month cycle and continue it on without taking the placebo pills. When the 3 wk cycle is up I immediately start a new pack.

I'm doing it this way as advisement by my doctor bc I'm anemic.

EDIT-If you do not take the pill then you can not stop it obviously. Only way to manipulate it is on the pill-sorry!

  8. Um..as far as I know, this is nearly impossible.  If you're taking birth control though, there is a way to work around when you get it (say you don't want it for a vacation or something), but you'd have to talk to your doctor about it.

  9. Is that even possible?
