its easy. here is how you can generally tell a female (anything) from a male anything:

the female usually leads to the destruction of the male.

the female stands idly by while the male does all the work.

the female will forget about the male when she lays her eggs.

the female will only comply with the male when it is necessarily to his detriment and to her benefit.

other ways to tell about females is that they are usually:

deceitful, unethical, irrational, vicious, and exploitative.

and OTHER ways to tell if its a female is to see if it has the word BIDSH stamped on its forhead.

nomethinks is a bit bitter ain't he?  With that attitude no wonder.

The female I believe is bigger than the male and the male is a bit more slender.  Pretty sure that's about it til they mate.  Rumor has it that if the female has plenty of food around the male may be allowed to live.
