How can you tell boiled eggs are done?

If you spin an hard boiled egg that is done, it will spin and stand on one end!! TRUE fact. Other than that you have to time them, 3 minutes in rapidly boiling water for soft, 5 for medium and up to ten for hard boiled. You can also buy little gadgets that go in the water and show how hard your egg is boiling. BUT try the spinning thing, it really does work! x

I usually put the eggs in the water and  bring it to a complete boil than

I turn them down and cook for about 15 minutes.

easy it take about 30 min to boil eggs and when they are done you run cold water into the pan and then when they have cooled then you can pell them

Boil the water and put the eggs in.  Continue boiling the water for 16 minutes.  They'll be perfect!  Make sure and cool in water overnight in the fridge or wait until they are completely cool before peeling...otherwise they won't look very pretty ( deviled eggs ).

u pop it in with ur egg and it says on it soft medium or hars and the line moves with the egg

Experience usually 3min for soft and 10 for hard......actually if you are good you can SMELL when they are HB

You can't really tell until you try to crack them open. I always wait until they've been boiling at least 15 minutes to make sure.
