How can you tell by a female and a male Canada goose?

The males are the ones with the darker neck...i think the females are all one color.

There is actually no way of finding out, unless you cloaca test it .  They are not  sexually dimorphic, meaning that they are the same size, color, etc. The females are a slight bit smaller, though.   The male are larger and more alert.  Identifying a flock will usually be easier than identifying an individual bird.
