How can you tell for sure if a car speaker is blown?

what causes them to blow out? and is there any kind of fix or would i need to completely replace it?

it will sound like c**p rattle etc... age bass etc... is what causes them to blow. You can not fix a blown speaker you got to change them.

You can tell in if sound fuzzy when u play it or u can open it up to see.And u dont have to buy a hole new speaker just buy the bit that has blown
