How can you tell how successful a job interview is or was?

Job interview was last week. Was nervous but did ok I think. I interviewed with 4 gals. I was asked how soon I would be able to start and if it would be a problem to go out of town a couple of times the first year for training. I was also told what the pay was and about the benefits and asked if I would still be interested. I was also told by the main one doing the interview that my portfolio was the most impressive by far that she has seen and that it looked like a lot of work was put into it. At the end she said they were going to be interviewing one more afternoon (which was the 6th of Aug) and that she was hoping that with 4 women making up their minds on as who to hire, it would be decided by the 7th or 8th of Aug and so not to 'get too worried or concerned if I didn't hear anything by tomorrow or the next day' (which was last Wed and Thur). What's your take on this? Good? Bad? Thank you!

  1. obviously they liked you and you are definitely the first choice from the people they interviewed so far. now it depends on if they found anyone they like better on that last interview or not. based on what you said, i think you have an excellent chance at the job. good luck.
