its in the blister so it must be sealed

Well obviously if you see it in a store

but you can go to yugioh.wikia.org and type in a booster pack name in the search bar and it should tell you the realease date

well if it was sealed badly. if when you attempt to open one end it tears from the glue they used to seal it. a normal booster should open cleanly.
