How can you tell if a fragrance is for night or day?

Cologne is for day because it's lighter fragrance.

Perfume is heavier scent is is better for evening.

Most companies make both for one scent.

Make sure that it is a light fragrance for the day so it's not too overpowering, i love Daisy - Mark Jacobs..very light..or Sarah Jessica Parker - Covet is gorgeous..for night..i think something a little more sensual like Ange au Demon - Givenchy :)
