How can you tell if a hermit crab is a boy or girl if its to shy to come out? I've had for 4 days.?

Its practically impossible to tell, so just say its a girl if u want it to be or vice versa...

Please dont try to take the crab out of its shell, if you do and it didnt want to, it will kill itself by shredding itself.

anyway they dont reproduce in captivity ...

its really hard to tell if its a boy or girl. it doesnt really matter tho, cause they cant breed in captivity.
