Well this is how it starts a stray cat had 5 kittens under our shed. And about 2 months later she got ran over. :( now we are feeding them and playing with them. they are living under and in our shed outside. There are two that let me pick them up but one kitten is living in our tree. And is way skinner then the others i see him eat once and awhile and I'm making sure he is eating he seems sick to me. Whenever i go out there he always wants to cuddle with me and he seems cold. But he is purring but doesn't play alot like the others but he likes to get around. How can i tell if he is sick. And if he is how can i help him. I can't stop worrying about the little guy. I know he isn't mine but he is in my world.

  1. What a sweetheart you are!  You make me cry and smile at the same time with your problem.

You already know that the little one may be sick, but with your constant attention, feeding, cuddling, keeping him safe and warm he has a chance of living.

Are you going to keep them?  If they are strays they are YOURS now!  You have established a routine, which cats love.

Lucky you!  Kittens are angels with fur.  How old are you?  Get back to me as I may have more tips for you, o.k.?

AND most importantly is that you get the skinny one to a vet.  He can get better (probably) with medicine.

  2. u no its sick if it dies.....wahhhh!!!!!!!!

  3. You really can't tell if he's sick, but a vet can, and there are rescue organizations who will get him checked out if you can't afford to.  Also, call a couple vets in your area and see if they give discounts for stray cat care--a lot of vets do that for people who rescue animals, sometimes doing stuff for free.  It would be a shame for the kitty to die for want of a simple shot or a weeks worth of pills.

  4. He needs to go to a vet. If you can't do that take them to an animal shelter. They will care for him. He will not survive outside on his own.

  5. he mightn't be playing as much as the other kittens because he might just have a different personality than them.ive 4 kittens and one of them isn't play full but hes fine and healthy.the reason why he might be thin could be worms all animals have worms when born they get it from their mums milk so you have to give them worm tablets.that's why he might be not eating as well.the patches in his fur and the scratching could be because of fleas with are common for cats and outdoor cats. if he keeps scratching his ear then he could have ear mites.i think you should ring him down to the vet just to get checked out i don't think there is anything seriously wrong with him though

oh and dint worry about the fleas, worms and ear mites all kittens get them my kittens had them before and we got stuff in the vet that sorted them out trait away.

the vet gives tablets for worms that you  hide in food, they give a liquid thing that you squirt in the back of the neck for fleas and they give another liquid thing that you squirt in their ears for the ear mites

I'm not 100 percent sure whats wrong with him i need to see him first but that's what i think Oise wrong with him.
