How can you tell if a marijuana seed is good or bad?

if it is hard and has tiger stripes on it it is prob a good one. you can bite it softly and if it doesn't bust it is good... i don't smoke

If you dont have marijuana seeds they are good.

If you do have maijuana seeds they are bad.

alright hippie, Im majoring in horticulture,  the way professionals would check any seed is this -   take ten seeds , germinate (grow) them and how ever many sprout is the germination rate of the seed , or simply what precentage of the seed will grow.  Because pot seeds are not hard you cant do the float test, that will only ruin them.  Also  ask the dealer

It is light in color. You will see some that are dark, that means they are burnt. If they are lighter and they are still intact (not crushed, etc.) they will be good. Sometimes they have a skin on them (similar to a peanut).
