  1. look   it up

  2. It cannot hurt for it to come up to your nose, theoretically the longer it is the more control you are going to have, shorter the easier it is for doing tricks and such

  3. Look at the snowboard. Have to know ur weight. Then determine if it's too skinny for you. Or too big for you. You have to know. Just look at it and you can tell.

  4. ask a professional

  5. they say up to ure chin wen its on the toe of ure boot but if u want it for tricks then maybe alittle smaller

  6. a snowboard should be between your nose in your chin when you stand it up

  7. An ideal snowboard for a beginner should come up to your nose almost.

  8. A snowboard should be between your nose and chin. You should get one that is closer to your nose, if you are still growing, but in the center of your nose and chin for best results. Anything other than this area could alter the way you ride, and you will not get the optimum riding experience!

  9. It should come up to your chin for the ideal fit

  10. Im shocked at how many people have got this wrong. Your weight is the main factor when determining what size snowboard you should buy, height also comes into it but only to an extent. The other factors which determines the length of board you buy is the type of riding you do ie freestyle, freeriding, powder or a bit of everything and also to a lesser extent the level of riding you are at. As if you are a begineer rider its always better to go for a board on the short side as its easier to control and progress on.

Ok the floor to the chin method which many people ( see above) think is the best way to pick snowboard size is a technique used by people at rental places just to get the boards out fast. It doesent work for everyone one though, for example take two people who are 5 ft 5 but one weights 100 lb the other 200lb would they really ride the same board? but if you pick a board out on heigh alone they would get the same board. The type of riding you do comes into it also, if you email me your weight and height i can give you lengths for freestyle, all mountain and freeride boards that would suit you, Good Luck.

  11. For most people the end of the snowboard should come up to their chin. But some people like it bigger or smaller depending on how well they can handle it. Like if they have been snowboarding for a while. hope this helped

  12. when u step on it then it depends how u spread ur feet

  13. It's not how tall you are that matters when choosing a snowboard, it how much you weigh and what you are using it for. Most boards have a weight range for each length.

Shorter boards are easy to control and are great for freestyle (tricks). Longer boards usually take to powder really well but are harder to gain control over and carve.

  14. Feel the fire inside you, man. FEEL IT!

  15. Normally the board should go between your nose and your chin while standing up...

Shorter boards a little better for the freestyle riding and tricks

Longer boards can be good for tricks but not as well.. all depends on how well you are at snowboarding

As for your bindings... your feet should be lined up with your shoulders (left foot equal with your left shoulder and same with your right)

    Hope this helps

  16. some where between your chin and nose!!
