How can you tell if something is bootleg or fake from Ebay?

90% + of all designer items on ebay are FAKE.

If you are at all suspicious, then pay through PAYPAL and fund it with a CREDIT CARD.

Then if anything goes wrong and PAYPAL can't get you a refund, you then have the option of filing for a CHARGEBACK through your CC provider.

Looking at the seller's feedback is about the only way.

If something about the listing makes you suspicious -- go with your gut. If they're the type of person who would sell a fake product, they're also not likely to be the type of person who will refund your money easily if you're dissatisfied with your purchase. Stay away from them unless you're sure what they're selling is really what you want to buy.
