Question:

How can you tell if the person you're calling is receiving your call in the bathroom?

I know the question might seem weird but i'm just curious. There was one time when I answered a phone in the bathroom and the person I was talking to asked me "are you in the bathroom or something?". I forgot to ask how he knew. Does the phone echo or something? Like I said, i'm just curious.

There's an acoustic sound in bathrooms, because there are no windows, and the walls and floor are bare. It's a sound almost unique to bathrooms, as are the sounds of pissing and farting.

Probably the sound quality (like the echo), or are they grunting? Did you hear a "plop", the toilet flushing?
