How can you tell if your a citizen?

well my dad became a citizen when he moved to new jersey from dominican republic. he signed some papers for my brother and i when he became one.does this mean that im a US citizen. also i was 1 1/2 and my brother was 4, almost 5

As Daisy said, ask your dad. Do you have a social security number? Drivers License? Get the document of approval from your dad.

If you were in the USA, as an immigrant, at the time your father became a citizen then you are a citizen.  If you were still in DR, no, you are not.

If you apply for a passport and they approve it....

that's kind of risky thought because if u r not. they deport u right there.

best way is ask your dad for "NATURALIZATION PAPERS"
