  1. Colds give me a sore throat, allergies usually don't.  With allergies, the roof of my mouth will itch, colds don't make me itch.  


  2. i get really bad allergies, especially around the winter time, wierd! i know!

    but im an expert at telling the difference.

    the key is localizing the pain, allergies are all in your head and sinuses. Around the cheek bones, forehead, ect. You still have the awful headache, stuffy nose, and maybe even a sore throat from postnastral drip.. BUT colds usually affect the body as well as the head. For instance, with a cold you may experience fatigue.

    Allergies=Head

    Cold=Head and Body

    try taking some antihistamines for the allergies, if they dont work, go see a doctor or get some cold medicine honey!! sorry
